Forex Robot - Are These Systems Right For You
Automated Forex trading programs, or “robots”, are software marketed primarily to users interested in profiting from the Forex market but with little or no firsthand experience. The common plug is that Forex robots can make money without any input or supervision from their users: just set them running and they do all the work, turning a profit even while you sleep. These claims may be truthful in some cases, but there are enough programs that fail to live up to these lofty promises that anyone interested in investing their money with a Forex robot should do their research before making a purchase.

There is no such thing as a perfect Forex trading robot. If a program claims itself to be such a thing, then you can be assured the only people it will make money for are its developers. Financial markets are chaotic systems, rising and falling due to factors that cannot always be accurately predicted. If there was some kind of purely logical order at the center of it all, then yes, however chaotic they may appear to a human, the markets could be predicted. But however widely Forex robots may be used, there will always be the human factor throwing off the machine’s careful calculations: a handful of irrational trades can have a widespread effect, setting off new trends, reversing old ones and changing the face of the market in mere hours. A computer can make incredibly educated guesses about the future, but if there was truly such a thing as an electronic crystal ball, then there would be no market: there would only be computers shuffling numbers around.
Remember also that past performance does not guarantee future earnings. Even if an automated trading system claims several past years of excellent results, such successes have no bearing on the program’s profitability in the years to come. It should be noted that these robots come with a disclaimer: they come with no guarantee of profits and are meant purely for “educational purposes”.
This is the crucial part to consider. Once you accept the license agreement, the developers assume no responsibility for whatever losses you might incur using their product. If their robot loses you thousands of dollars on the market, those thousands are gone, period. This risk is mitigated somewhat if you choose a program whose developers offer a full refund if you’re not satisfied with the software: they’re less likely to laugh and say “caveat emptor” if their ability to make money from their product relies on your ability to do the same. An even better way to ensure you don’t get sold a scam is by looking up reviews of specific Forex programs: you can count on both success and horror stories to make their way around the Internet, and with a small amount of research you should easily be able to tell the good programs from the garbage.
In the end, the only way to make absolutely sure you profit from Forex trading is to learn the ropes yourself. Blindly trusting any Forex robot is a good way to lose lots of money: many programs have runs of incredible profits, but the only way to ensure they last is by jumping in yourself and getting involved with the trading process. Think of it as a partnership, a man-and-machine alliance straight out of a sci-fi movie: intuition and instinct coupled with ironclad rationality. It may be impossible to predict the market with infallible accuracy, but you can certainly improve your odds by doing your own research and reaching your own conclusions. It’s not enough to just buy the best robot: you have to be the best user for it. Join forces and make some money!
